Biometric fingerprint reader does not work "off net"
My 7 RC install is connected to a Win2k3 native domain. I have a fingerprint reader in my Lenovo Thinkpad T60p and with a download from windows update, it works great - when I am connected to the network. If I go home and restart my machine, I cannot use the fingerprint reader - it can't read my print for some reason. When I connect back to the network at work, it works fine. There are no errors in any of the event logs to give me clues as to why (besides the old school "no logon server..." error message). I can logon fine with alternate credentials (my domain password) just fine with an extensive delay (that also is not present while "on-net"). Ideas?

Ok, I don't think this is an issue with Win7. I also noticed that vbs logon scripts were not running too. I found that something I installed nuked the vbscript registration. I fixed that and now the off-net biometric stuff works.
